All the day users search for charging point but now no more you need to do that. Qualcomm introduced their New version of Quick Charge, Qualcomm Quick Charge 4+.
What is new with Qualcomm Quick Charge 4+
Already Quick Charge 4 allow your device to go from empty to 50 percent in just 15 minutes. Now According to Qualcomm, “they haven’t been resting on their accomplishments since then. In fact, since that time they developed new enhancements and created a special program for those device and accessory manufacturers who design their products with these new features included”.
Benefit of Qualcomm Quick Charge 4+
Qualcomm says the mobile device side, Quick Charge 4+ includes all the benefits of Quick Charge 4, plus three enhancements.
- “Dual Charge,” which is already an option in an earlier version of Quick Charge, but is “now more powerful”.
- Intelligent Thermal Balancing: a further enhancement to Dual Charge, intelligent thermal balancing is engineered to move current via the coolest path autonomously, eliminating hot spots for optimized power delivery.
- Advanced Safety Features: Quick Charge 4+ goes one step further and is designed to monitor both the case and connector temperature levels simultaneously. That’s help to protect the device from over-Heating.
With Dual Charge, Intelligent Thermal Balancing, and Advanced Safety Features incorporated in a device design, that device has the potential to charge up to 15 percent faster, or 30 percent more efficiently when compared to Quick Charge 4.
Qualcomm adds that accessories like wall adapters, car chargers, portable battery banks, and USB hubs can qualify for Quick Charge 4+. The accessories will also support backward compatibility with Quick Charge 3.0 and Quick Charge 2.0.
Supported Phones for Qualcomm Quick Charge 4+
Only a few notable handsets include the Snapdragon 835 chip, including Samsung’s Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus Sony’s Xperia XZ Premium, Xiaomi’s Mi 6 and HTC’s U11. Further, Qualcomm’s list of Quick Charge-enabled models shows no devices with the 4th generation charging technology yet. This scarcity could mean that the new 4+ is more likely a replacement for the QC4 in upcoming smartphones, rather than a sequel.
